Gameplay
Ibru is a detective first person role playing game set in a science fantasy world inspired by ancient Sumerian mythology and cyberpunk dystopias.
As a detective, you will investigate cases using a plethora of unique skills, including those unavailable to mere mortals. Choose your own path while overcoming challenges. Will you be aggressive or diplomatic? Do you move in the shadows or act in the open? Are you playing by the book or breaking the rules?
The City
Discover the vast and diverse city of Ibru; a towering, timeless ziggurat which spans from the heavens to the underworld. Explore the city’s different districts, each with its own culture, history and residents. Interact with a multitude of characters, from the divine elite to the oppressed masses, from loyal followers of the gods to rebellious heretics.
The city is older than time, and only the stars remember the secrets that lie waiting in its ancient, sand-blown floors.
Your Story
You were brought to life by the gods in order to find the missing goddess, Inanna. In your journey to uncover the truth, you will uncover secrets, plots and conspiracies that will challenge the very notion of reality.
What you choose to present as the truth will be what tips the scale in the conflict between gods and mortals.
Make your choices wisely, as they will have consequences that will shape the world around you.
Summary
Ibru offers a true RPG experience set in a rich and immersive world, shaped by player made choices in a non-linear story. Craft your own unique character build, create your own conclusions to questlines in dynamic investigation cases.
Ibru is a game which will challenge you to truly think, feel and act as a detective in a world in which nothing is what it seems to be.
We’re planning a simultaneous release on PC, Xbox and Playstation. Our game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5.
